Representative robotic eyewear manufacturing cell in a precision factory

Manufacturing in Sabae

Development and production in one program.

EIDAI connects technical review, prototyping, manufacturing and finishing for brands ready to produce eyewear in Japan.

We do more than one isolated process. We help move a design toward repeatable production.

A factory partner for complete frame production.

EIDAI combines product development with two distinct manufacturing routes. The process is selected around the frame construction, then carried through prototyping, production, finishing and assembly.

Injection-molded frames

From mold and 3D development to robotic molding, secondary work and assembly.

Mold design / 3D design / 3D-printed prototype / Tooling / Robotic molding / Finishing and assembly

Acetate frames

Precision machining supported by hinge work, core-wire processing, polishing and final adjustment.

CNC machining / Hinge processing and insertion / Core-wire and component work / Polishing / Assembly / Quality inspection

Development support

We review the design data and product structure before production decisions are locked in.

Two production routes. One project conversation.

Injection-molded and acetate frames require different equipment and technical decisions. EIDAI keeps both routes connected to the same product objective.

01 Structure, scale and intended construction

Product engineering

Drawings, CAD data and reference samples are reviewed before the production route is finalized.

02 Development through assembly

Injection-molded frames

Mold development, tooling and robotic molding support a direct path from digital design to repeatable production.

03 Machining through final adjustment

Acetate frames

CNC machining is combined with hinge work, core-wire processing, polishing, fitting and final inspection.

04 Product completion and inspection

Finishing and assembly

Post-processing remains part of the manufacturing plan, not a separate conversation after the frame is made.

How a manufacturing project moves forward.

The sequence creates clear decision points before tooling and production commitments are made.

Development and production, connected as one manufacturing route.
  1. 01 Project input

    Define the product

Share the design status, intended frame construction, material direction and reference information.

  2. 02 Technical review

    Select the production route

The frame is reviewed for injection molding or acetate CNC, including the related component and finishing requirements.

  3. 03 Approval point

    Develop and prototype

3D data and physical samples are used to resolve geometry, scale, fit and manufacturing questions.

  4. 04 Production preparation

    Prepare production

Tooling, machining data, process setup, material and component requirements are organized for the selected route.

  5. 05 Finished frames

    Manufacture and complete

Molding or machining is followed by secondary work, finishing, assembly, adjustment and inspection.

Representative EIDAI eyewear manufacturing detail

Manufacturing control follows the product.

The useful question is not whether a process exists. It is whether the product decisions remain visible from development through final inspection.

Before production

Geometry, construction, material direction and sample approval are clarified before the production setup is fixed.

During manufacturing

Process-specific checkpoints stay close to molding, machining, component work and finishing.

At completion

Assembly, adjustment and final inspection confirm the frame as a finished product rather than an isolated part.

What to share for an initial review.

A complete specification is helpful but not required. Available information is enough to begin identifying the next technical decisions.

Design status
Concept, drawing, CAD data or physical sample.
Product direction
Frame type, construction, material, color and component expectations.
Commercial context
Quantity direction, intended market and target schedule.

Discuss the right production route for your frame.

Share the design and current project status. EIDAI will begin with the manufacturing questions that matter.
